The former Lorraine Motel is the site of the National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis, Tennessee. It was at this hotel that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated on April 4, 1968.
Since 1991 the heritage and cultural museum has honored the civil rights leader through exhibits, collections, speakers, and special events.
Our mini State Icon print of this historic landmark celebrates the museum and its mission to share the culture and lessons gleaned not only MLK, but also the American Civil Rights Movement.
